Primary 4 is an exciting year, full of interesting, challenging and rewarding activities, signalling the end of Key Stage 1.
In the Autumn Term we study “The Senses” and enjoy, among other things, making our own musical instruments and a visit from a local Optometrist.
World War Two is our topic for the Spring Term, where we learn all about the life of children during the war. We even have our own home-made Anderson Shelter! The topic culminates with an excellent, inter-active visit to Castleward, where we experience life as evacuees.
In the Summer Term our trips, in connection with our Local Buildings topic, take us to a local church, supermarket, Lisburn Library and finish with an action packed morning at Lisburn Leisure Centre.
