Statement of Purpose
Aims and objectives
To provide a safe and welcoming environment that enables children to participate in every aspect of play. We encourage children to socialise with peers; which includes eating with them at snack time.
Age range
The setting enrols children from primary one right through to primary seven.
Number of children
We are registered for up to 34 children.
Range of needs
We have facilities to accommodate physical needs i.e wheelchair access.
Dietary requirements are also welcome.
Speak with a staff member to discuss your child’s needs.

Afterschool -
1:15pm- 5:15pm £15
1:15pm- 3pm £9
3pm- 5:15pm £10

Staffing
All staff have relevant checks and all attend regular training. Staff ratios comply to the minimum standards.
Service offered
Ballymacash afterschool staff will collect your child from his/her class.
There will be a chance for the older children (P.4 – P.7) to do their homework if they wish. This is not compulsory.
Activities provided
Different activities will be provided each day. Some of these include; free play, construction, small world toys, music, role play, art and craft, baking, table top toys, jigsaws and outdoor physical play i.e rounders, parachute etc.
Terms and conditions
The afterschool setting has a parent contract which all parents/carers will sign. A copy is returned to the parents/carers.
