  • P6 Textile Workshop

    Wed 25 Jan 2017
This week both P6 classes had the chance to extend their art skills, as they enjoyed a three hour textiles workshop in the classroom. Under the instruction of specialist textiles teacher Naomi Whan, both the pupils and staff were amazed at both the simplicity and the effectiveness of this form of art.  The pictures are amazing and everyone went home with a real sense of the achievement...if you are fortunate enough to receive one as a gift for Mother's Day, you won't be disappointed!
  • We are the Champions

    Fri 13 Jan 2017
Congratulations to our Boys' Football team on winning the Lisnagarvey High School Tournament this afternoon.  Undefeated from 1st kick to final whistle, they secured the victory in the final against Pond Park Primary School.  As has become tradition for any team bringing home silverware to the school - they have been promised their McDs lunch treat!
  • P7 Raving about RADAR

    Thu 12 Jan 2017

Our P7 pupils recently had a fantastic trip to the RADAR centre (Risk Avoidance Danger Awareness Resource!) returning with a smile and a much better understanding about 'Keeping Safe'.

Now open just one year it remains Northern Ireland’s only fully interactive, safety and life skills education centre. It’s interactive, fun, and informative. RADAR gives young people a unique chance to explore dangerous situations in a risk free environment.  During the visit they participated in 6 stations covering a range of scenarios including safety on the farm, on the bus, in the house and being in court.  See the P7 home page for more photos....
