As the oldest educational institution in north Lisburn, Ballymacash Primary School is now in its 77th year of learning. Opened on its current site in May 1931, the school is set in a semi-rural setting and enjoys a pleasant situation with extensive, mature grounds. The old building, opened in 1931, has had several extensions since then and is now used for the Nursery Unit, key stage two classrooms and our Playgroup. The modern and spacious main school building was opened in 1981 and in total there are now over 350 pupils on the site. |
