Governors
The Board of Governors, which consists of representatives of the South Eastern Education & Library Board, Transferors (local church representatives), parents and staff. Their primary role is ensuring the school provides a good quality education. They have a wide range of responsibilities which include:
- Setting school aims and policies in relation to: the curriculum, pupil admissions, pupil discipline, special educational needs and pastoral care
- Ensuring the statutory curriculum is delivered and that all pupils are achieving success at school
- School Budgets
- Staff Appointments
- Promoting good relations between the school and the community
- Maintenance of the Building
- Preparing Information for parents
- Producing an Annual Report
They are very interested in all aspects of school life and strongly support the work of the staff. Governors normally serve a term of four years and our current Board of Governors consists of the following members:
